Product Review - Lemongrass Spa

I love getting stuff for free.  It doesn't matter what it is, if it is free, I will try it out.  So when I saw a post in a Facebook group offering free organic spa products I decided to take them up on the offer.  Even though I am a consultant for Celadon Road which sells its own organic spa products, I thought I would check out the competition.  And who knows, I might find something I really like, right?

The products I received were from Lemongrass Spa Products and were from their "favorites" line of products.  I received sample sizes of the Pink Grapefruit Body Polish, Eternal Bliss Body Silk, Oatmeal Milk and Honey Soap and a full-size Pink Shimmer Lip Balm with Vitamin E.

My favorite of the products is the Pink Shimmer Lip Balm.  With a light tint, it adds just a hint of shimmer to my lips.  It goes on very smooth and has a sweet smell.

I am not a fan of bar soap to begin with, and the Oatmeal Milk and Honey Soap did little to change my opinion.  The light smell was lovely and the lather was soft but no matter what, in my opinion bar soap will always be inferior to shower gel.  I followed the soap up with the Pink Grapefruit Body Polish.  The bright pink, fine scrub felt great and put just the right amount of oil into my skin.  After a pat dry and a re-apply of the Pink Simmer Lip Balm (just because!), I finished off with the Eternal Bliss Body Silk, a lightly fragranced body lotion.  My skin soaked it in so there was no sticky residue leftover.

All in all, I enjoyed the products.  I definitely left the bathtub with softer skin than I started with.  Did I find something that I really liked?  Absolutely!  The Pink Shimmer Lip Balm is great and something that I will definitely reorder in the future.  There's even a Pink Shimmer Lotion that sounds like fun too.
